We had become really disillusioned with our NHS dentist following too many rushed check up appointments, some only lasting 5 minutes. How can anyone possibly
ensure you are in good dental health in 5 minutes. Sometimes we had been kept waiting for up to 50 minutes after our original appointment time.
Before deciding to choose a new dentist we asked around our friends, work colleagues and neighbours. We found one name kept being repeated time and time
again, Sandes Avenue Dental Practice. What a gem we found with Dr Richards and her very professional team.
They immediately made us feel at ease. There certainly was none of the poor service and attitude problems we had previously encountered. In fact it was totally
the opposite. All the staff from the receptionist, nurses and dentist couldn’t do enough to help us. Combining this with the non dental feel of the waiting area
and surgery proved we had definitely made the right choice. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

My wife decided to “reward” me with a slightly unusual birthday present. She new I had been concerned about the colour of my stained teeth for sometime. She
regularly attended Sandes Avenue Dental Practice and booked me a laser tooth whitening treatment. Dr Richards carried out the surgery based whitening. This whole
treatment took about 1.5 hours from the moment I walked in. The best bit about this was the instant result achieved. I had previously tried some of the home
whitening treatments before but the surgery process made mince meat out of these. All my friends have noticed the difference without me having to tell them I’d
received the treatment.
Dr Richards and her team made me feel very comfortable and relaxed through the whole process. They explained everything I needed to know in
layman’s understandable terms. They also used their state of the art digital technology to take before and after pictures which allow you to make a
comparison of the change in tooth colour. This just confirmed how spectacular my result was. The whole dental team from the receptionist onwards were
so helpful; I must say it was money really well spent. Definitely the place to go if you want the highest quality professional treatment with

We both felt the need to find more down to earth and reasonably priced Private dentistry. Given the obvious deterioration in NHS dental standards over recent
years and the unrealistic pricing of some Private practices we decided to shop around for a sensibly priced dentist with good general dental experience. We were
not interested in being sold expensive treatment plans on the back of “free” consultation where the price of this is so obviously added to the extensive
treatment requirement. We were pleasantly pleased to see no “Interest Free Finance/Payment Plans”. These have always worry me as they must reflect very
significant treatment costs way beyond my purse strings.
No such worries at Sandes Avenue. Good service, very pleasant surroundings and people. Best of all the prices were extremely reasonable especially when you
take into account the time we received from both dentists, Jennifer and Melanie.

Dr Jennifer Richards was recommended to me by a close friend and also my next door neighbour. I was not disappointed. In fact every aspect of
the treatment I received was 1st class from the moment I walked into their modern reception and surgery at Sandes Avenue in Kendal. The first thing I notice
was how unlike it compared to the usual dark and dingy dental premises I have visited previously.
Their reception area was very open, light and well appointed. The toilets were immaculately clean and scent of freshly cut flowers added a soothing touch.
I was even more impressed by the spacious surgery which contained another separate seating area. This was equipped with the latest technological equipment. I was
treated in a very respectful, caring yet professional manner. Jennifer provided me with a detailed written treatment plan and even showed me pictures taken with
their digital camera system to evidence why my teeth needed attention.
I always felt comfortable and relaxed with Jennifer’s unique approach to my treatment. I now regularly recommend Sandes Avenue Dental Practice to my friends.
